Classification of freezing tubes and thawing methods

Cryotubes are made of medical polypropylene (PP) and are disposable laboratory consumables designed for the storage of biological samples. They can withstand low temperatures up to -187°C in a gaseous state of liquid nitrogen. There are 0.5ml freezing tubes, 1.8ml freezing tubes, 5ml freezing tubes, 10ml freezing tubes, plastic freezing tubes, cell freezing tubes, bacterial freezing tubes, etc. They are used for cryogenic storage of samples, such as whole blood, serum and cells. After removing the frozen tubes, they should be thawed immediately in a 37 °C water bath and shaken gently to thaw within 1 minute.
